16 kHz keeps the separation up to 16 kHz (cymbals and the air of a voice); the standard setting separates up to 11 kHz and shares out the rest. Automatic uses the graphics card when the browser offers one and it works, otherwise the processor.

Good to know

The song stays on your device: it is split here, in your browser, and never sent anywhere.

Use it on music you have the right to use.

The first split downloads the splitting model and the program that runs it: about 93 MB for four parts, about 113 MB for five (about 13 MB more when a graphics card is used). Your browser normally keeps these files, so later splits download nothing; a browser that does not keep files this large downloads them again.

It needs a computer with about 3 GB of free memory for a song of three or four minutes, and about half a gigabyte more for each extra minute. Phones are not supported, but you may try.
